 reative Surfaces, Inc is partnering with US Outfitters LLC, an established supplier to the cruise-line industry, in providing fixtures to one of the of the world's largest cruise lines. We are collaborating with several vendors to deliver turnkey interior options for private yachts and ships.
Royal Caribbean gave us a two-part challenge. The first, matching existing kiosks on ships in several international ports without plans or elevations. The second, designing a more user-friendly kiosk system. Our production manager traveled to five different ships to see their existing kiosks in action and determine the improvements. the kiosks together and a brake system to keep the kiosks in place while the ship is traveling.
Five large kiosks were created for Royal Caribbean. They were delivered to Florida and have been installed on various ships in Ireland, Spain and several US ports, including Cape Canaveral. Susan Nelson, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Project Manager of Refurbishment, stated that we "had completed a difficult task” by their standards. Our success on the kiosk project helped us meet the demanding criteria by which suppliers get named to their approved vendor list. This approval helps secure future opportunities for Creative Surfaces, Inc. with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. |
