d eep in the heartland of America…on the rim of Snake River Canyon near Valentine, Nebraska is the new Prairie Club. Here, Creative Surfaces spent six months installing cabinetry and millwork. The interior of this clubhouse is as picturesque as the three golf courses. The clubhouse was designed and built with natural products to provide a feeling of being outdoors and serenity. This entire project uses knotty alder and granite – from the reception area, dining room, two bars to the 31 guest rooms. You will see knotty alder ceiling beams, the coffee bar, wine cabinets, bookcase in the study, the doors & window trim, and bathroom partitions. The guest rooms have storage cabinets and seat benches, and the mirrors are framed in knotty alder. “Santa Fe Brown” granite countertops are used throughout the lodge. In some areas, hickory wood and solid alder countertops were used. Notice in the lobby old barnwood was used as accent for the reception desk, fireplace mantel and hearth; and wrought iron spindles were used on railings.

Thinking of a golf trip? Why think Palm Springs or Myrtle Beach when you can go someplace where you can unplug. Think The Prairie Club…the land, the golf, the clubhouse – it’s breathtaking!
