 culptureWalk is an exciting venture for the Sioux Falls community. It is an exhibit of outdoor sculptures displayed year-round in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The pieces are loaned for one year from the artist to the exhibit and will be available for private purchase. The artists are from all over the globe. From May to September, the public can vote on their favorite sculpture and the winner will be classified as the “People’s Choice Award”. The piece will be purchased at the end of the exhibit year for the city’s permanent collection.
The SculptureWalk kicked off on May 22, 2004 and is an annual event sponsored by the Sioux Empire Arts Council.
Rob Bruce has been with Creative Surfaces, Inc. since October 1994. During his spare time he enjoys creating sculptures and other pieces of art. His Iron Fish sculpture will be on display at this years’ ScupltureWalk beginning in June 2009. |
