what we do with glass
table glass cutter
acculite
The 6’ x 7’ sheet of glass drops from the free fall rack to a pocket of air on the bed of the glass cutter. The glass is scored at a speed of 3,800 inches per minute.
The system has full geometric shape cutting capability — which is a must for the various sizes and shapes of slot glass we produce.
Our system cuts to a tolerance of plus or minus 1/64”, which is well within tolerances set by the slot glass companies we
work with.

Slot Glass Applications
After the slot glass is cut on the glass cutter, some of the pieces go through additional steps.
Some specifications call for etching which gives a frosted look. Another is a mirrored finish. Both applications require a run through our screen printer and then a wash with water for the etched and a chemical wash for the mirror. A LightJet print of the game is mounted to the back of the glass.
