reative Surfaces, Inc. kept busy the past several months producing a variety of casino signs for S&S Gaming Support. In July, we shipped eight new signs to Florida. From there the signs were crated and shipped to Germany to be installed on “Solstice” — one of the many ships from the fleet of Celebrity Cruise Lines in Florida. Celebrity had its own team install the new signs.

Our customer, S&S Gaming provided the designs and custom made glass, but everything else from start to finish was fabricated in the Creative Surfaces, Inc. sign shop in Sioux Falls. The signs were created to provide glitz and class to each of the gaming areas. Each sign is unique – we produced both single and double face multi-level displays with back-lit graphics. There are different 3D sculptures on all the signs, multi-color LEDs to change the halo lighting and custom painted finishes. Some of the signs required LCDs with animated graphics. What made this project very unique were the special glass features where Creative Surfaces installed all of the hand blown glass, glass mosaic, fusion glass and stained glass pieces with back lighting into the one-of-a-kind sign cabinets.
