The quartz countertops in this project are made with Cambria, a stain-resistant, non-porous natural quartz surface. It is harder, stronger and easier to care for than other stone surfaces because Cambria does not require sealing with harsh chemicals. Cambria has received both GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality and GREENGUARD for Children & Schools certifications. NSF International has certified Cambria as a safe surface for food preparation in commercial and residential kitchens.

All the Wilsonart laminates used in this project have been awarded the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality certification from the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute. This ensures that Wilsonart laminates can be used as a furniture surface to obtain a credit for Low-Emitting Office Furniture in the Indoor Environmental Quality Section of the LEED-CI Rating System.
