The island is custom designed and built using a combination of Cambria Blackbrook and White Cliff quartz. One end, the Cambria Blackbrook end is table height allowing for meals to be enjoyed; the standard height island which is Cambria White Cliff provides a 15″ overhang to allow for additional counter height stools. Blackbrook is quite dramatic – this design has white lightening strikes over a smooth black background; it is very modern and elegant. Paired with White Cliff – which is pure and unsullied. The combination of the two designs is very rich and classy.
We installed Blackbrook to the perimeter cabinets and also used it for the full height backsplash. Add in the black appliances for the finishing touch and you have a “WOW” factor.
