Welcome to the South Dakota Badlands!  People have been awed and fascinated by Badlands for many years.  Native American stories and legends have been know to find unusual fossils here.   Early homesteaders, ranchers, and the state of South Dakota recognized this place in 1929.  By 1939, the  Badlands National Monument was established, and in 1978 Badlands National Monument was elevated to national park status.  Your visit will include sightings of some of the best wildlife including bison, deer, bighorn sheep, coyotes, pronghorn, prairie dogs, ferrets, eagles, hawks, and fox.  A hike on one of the many trails is a great way to see several of these animals.

The Badlands Natural Association and Museum was founded in 1959.  Early in 2017, the museum took on some changes.  Creative Surfaces assisted with those remodeling changes by designing and building new custom commercial point of sale desks and laser cut interior signs.  It’s really what we do!  Our customers come from all over the state and country.  Everything we do is custom designed and built specifically for the customer’s needs.  We design it, we build it, and we install it ourselves.  That’s what sets us apart from the other manufacturers.  We are hands-on from beginning to end.  If you’ve got a project that requires some character, call us today.  You’ve got the idea, we will create it.  No project too big or too small.
