Fall of 2013, Walser Automotive contacted Creative Surfaces for help with automotive cabinetry and displays for their new Honda dealership in Burnsville, MN.  So our team of experts went to work on designing a dealership that included everything from the reception desk and info center wall to the lunchroom, refreshment counter and everything else in between.  Winter of 2014, production was completed and our install team spent several days on-site installing the product.

At the entry point you will find a reception table and reception desk with plenty of file cabinets, a form printer cabinet, and a general printer cabinet all made using Wilsonart “Designer White” (high gloss finish) plastic laminate panels with 1/4″ aluminum inserts between panels.  The printer cabinets are Nevamar “Santa Rosa Plus Tree” plastic laminate with power coming up from the floor into both printer cabinets.  For the countertops we used Corian “Graylite” solid surface.  The reception desk back wall face is made using the same Nevamar with a  Honda logo of 1/4″ black plexi with brushed vinyl faces mounted to both sides of the wall.  Clear lexan panels with frosted vinyl stripes that align with aluminum inserts are mounted to the wall face.

Notice the 20’x18″ curved information wall.  The entire face of the wall is made using 1/4″ hi-flex sheetrock.  Power/data comes out of the floor and up toekick, wall and millwork.  Some sections of the wall have Wilsonart “Designer White” plastic laminate panels separated by 1/4″ aluminum inserts.  The Honda logo is 1/4″ laser cut black plexi with brushed aluminum vinyl faces.  The cabinets and countertops are Nevamar plastic laminate.

Service writer desks are 42″ counter height for 3 persons.  They have a tiled halfwall face with Wilsonart cabinets.  The hood is Hi-Macs “Artic White” solid surface with four Honda logos routed out of the face and backlit with blue lights; and Cambria “Braemar” quartz countertops.  An interlam panel painted Honda blue accents the front face of an end cabinet.

Keeping consistency throughout the project….the service storage desk, reception credenza, sales manager desk, lunchroom, and refreshment counter are all made using Wilsonart “Designer White” with a combination of Cambria “White Cliff”, “Whitehall”, and “Braemar” for cabinet faces, end panels, and countertops.

We built twenty five 15″ lockers using Wood Veneer Treefrog “Black Oak” (straight grain) with black melamine interiors.  Each locker is keyed differently.  The wifi desk has two curved walls – one 42″ tall and the other 36″ tall desks.  The walls are Treefrog “Macassar Black & White Crown plastic laminate with Cambria “White Cliff” countertops.
