Driving west through South Dakota you’ll find it beautiful country. You’ll want to make a stop at the Badlands Natural History and Museum where our install team assisted in the re-model of the museum by installing a custom commercial point of sale desk.
The face of the POS desk is slat wall material – white oak and blue stained pine. The exterior of the desk showcases Marmoleum Clide water jet pattern of badlands formations; the interiors are almond melamine. The countertops and back wall cabinets are Wilsonart “Tan Soapstone” plastic laminate (fine velvet texture). Above each POS station you’ll find a Ram Head and Goundhog that are 2 layers, back to back of 1/8″ laser cut blued steel with etched design in the face. The signs are suspended from a 3/8″ laser cut steel plate using small linked chains. Between the two POS desks is an arced sign made using stained white oak with black vinyl letters framed using painted steel.
Approximately one million people visit the Badlands National Park! Be a part of something good in the Badlands. This land is your land!
