Even during a pandemic we kept busy. Spring 2020 we built and installed custom hospitality cabinetry for the new Hyatt Place in Sioux Falls, SD.
This was a large project involving the lobby host stands, wall cladding behind the stands, lobby market area, printer stands and quiet nook. In addition we designed and built the hotel guest bar cabinetry, canopy and guest tables. You’ll also see a custom guest coffee bar, breakfast nook cabinetry and countertops, trash bin cabinets and a custom metal bar height table.
The wall behind the host stands is Plain Sawn American Walnut planks, 3″ wide by varying lengths. The face of the host stands is made using rift cut white oak stained “Coffee Satinwood”; the stand surround and countertops are Belstone quartz 2cm “Mandalay”. Throughout the lobby area is a quiet nook (cabinets and cubbies), the lobby market, work area cabinets and printer stands that are also rift cut white oak stained.
Let’s move to the lobby guest bar. Here the back bar cabinet exteriors and columns are rift cut white oak with insets of 1/2″ Durock. The wall showcases LED channel lighting in “cool white”. The sliding doors are Chemetal “Satin Black Aluminum”. The half wall face of the bar is made using 3/4″ x 4″ wood planks of rift cut white oak (quartered tongue & groove). There is concealed LED lighting strip directly under the countertop overhang; as well as six USB outlets and six purse hooks. The footrail is 8′ x 6″ oil rubbed bronze steel pipe.
The sunroom features a coffee bar of rift cut white oak. The upper cabinets and open shelving back panel is Chemetal “Satin Black Aluminum” with Belstone quartz “Macadamia” countertops and lit using LED lighting. Join us in the guest kitchen for breakfast. These cabinets are all painted Sherwin Williams “Origami White” with Belstone “Macadamia” quartz countertops. The soffit trim is Chemetal “Satin Black Aluminum”. LED lighting strips run above and below the cabinets.
Throughout all the guest rooms and suites we used rift cut white oak on the kitchenette cabinets with Belstone “Jester White” countertops for the custom hospitality cabinetry.
