Early 2017 we spent a few days in Evans, Georgia installing a quality fitness center reception desk for Gold’s Gym.  This isn’t the first time we’ve designed, built, and installed cabinetry for these gym owners.  Our previous project was for their first Gold’s Gym in Carbondale, Illinois.  Over the past several years our relationship with them has developed through the projects we’ve assisted them with; we appreciate their business, their loyalty, and friendship.  

This particular Gold’s Gym project required a reception desk with back wall.  For the reception desk including cabinets, stepped retail display designed within the cabinetry, and half wall we used Wilsonart “Branded Oak” plastic laminate.  The hood and countertops are Wilsonart “Casual Linen”.  For the transaction countertop we used Cambria quartz “Galloway” countertop surfaces.  The face of this desk features 6 panels of Satin Ice Evonik with 1/2″ silver decorative fasteners and then backlit using white LEDs.   Behind the desk we created a wall featuring panels of Wilsonart “Fired Steel” plastic laminate with Wilsonart “Branded Oak” reveals and half wall caps.  

The interior wall sign of letters, logo, and rings are cut from “Brushed Silver” vinyl over 3/16″ black plexi and mounted directly to the wall.
