Recently a couple members of our team traveled to the east coast and while there visited this Gold’s Gym that Creative Surfaces completed in spring 2013.  A high end fitness center tucked back amongst the maple trees, it’s has a very friendly and welcoming environment.  Here we completed the reception/juice bar, the front desk dimensional signage, personal trainer desk, breakroom cabinets and locker rooms.

About the project:

The front of the reception desk, juice bar half wall  and back cabinets are made using Wilsonart “Walnut Heights” plastic laminate.  The front face of reception desk is Chemetal “Satin Silver Aluminum”.  To finish the face we designed a Gold’s Gym dimensional logo sign and centered it on the face.  On each side of the face you’ll see a 4″ tall accent trip (inlay); and frosted plexi panels on 1/2″ tall stand-offs.  We included a glass face cabinet on the side of the desk using 1/4″ tempered glass for the retail display of protein bars and nutritional snacks.  The countertops on the working surface and juice bar transaction top are Cambria “New Haven”.  The personal trainer desk and breakroom cabinets are “Walnut Heights” plastic laminate with Wilsonart “Tungsten Ev” laminate countertops.   The dimensional signage rings and lettering is yellow vinyl stuck to 1/4″ black plexi.

Move to the men’s and women’s locker rooms where you will find 76 standard double lockers 11″ x 19″ deep made using Wilsonart “Montana Walnut” plastic laminate with black melamine interiors.  Each locker has a number engraved in a Brushed Aluminum plate.  The dry vanity countertop and backsplash are Wilsonart “Tungsten Ev”; the wet vanity is solid surface “Livingstone Tuscany”.  The toilet partitions are Wilsonart “Montana Walnut”; the shower stalls are Ampco Phenolic “Natural Sand”.
