Spring of 2019 even during a pandemic kept us busy with the design and building of this restaurant bar custom cabinetry project for Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Houston, Texas.
The project included all the wall cladding in the entry, dining room, lounge, bar dining area and front bar. In these areas we used Hard Maple Wood Veneer stained Sherwin Williams “Autumn Oak Base” throughout. In the entry is a divider wall with open shelving. This frame, soffit and fixed shelves are all hard maple wood stained to match the wall cladding. The soffit and bottom of the shelving unit features concealed LED lighting in grooves; the bottom half of the wall showcases tile.
Other areas of restaurant bar custom cabinetry include this liquor bottle display rack you’ll see in the entry of the restaurant. This steel frame is 1″ x 1″ steel tubing powdercoated “matte black”. The shelves are 1/4″ Luxfit light panels. The unit is enclosed using 3/8″ clear tempered glass and fully lit with all electrical wiring running through the tube frame and concealed.
The dining room has a POS station and server station cabinets with open shelving and floating shelves built using Hard Maple Wood. We built and installed the bar drink rail made of Chemetal “Satin Black Aluminum” for the front bar. The footrail is steel powdercoated “Matte Black”.
Above the bar island is a custom starburst stemware metal structure made using 3/4″ x 2″ rectangular tubing. The starburst has 38 hanging racks each 16″ long. The bar area features a dining screen wall made of maple wood slats with Sherwin Williams “Autumn Oak Base” finish. Each slat is 2″ w x 4″ deep x 8′ tall.
