There is a new Lincoln Automotive in Sioux Falls, SD and it features some pretty amazing custom automotive millwork manufacturing. This new store says “wow” the moment you step inside. It is fresh, classy, professional, AND the new Lincoln is super nice too.
On this project, Creative Surfaces built millwork and cabinetry for the following spaces:
- greeter desk
- greeter logo wall and black label wall
- image wall and monitor wall
- craftsman office
- sales manager office
- service lounge bar
- training room center
- bar feature wall
- men’s and women’s vanities
- window sills
We use a couple of different wood species and finishes for this dealership millwork.
- Alpiwood – wax “quarter sawn wenge”
- Rift Cut Ash Hardwood/Veneer, black lacquer
Lets take a closer look into each of these areas and explain the special elements used in each area.
Greeter Desk – the half wall face is Alpiwood. The upper and lower countertops are Corian “Glacier White” solid surface. Finished with concealed LED lighting at the toekick.
Service Lounge Bar – built using the same wood as the greeters desk, Alpiwood. The back wall of the bar is 142″ x 126″. It features panels of Alpiwood with the Lincoln emblem cut-outs with 1/4″ thick white painted glass inserts.
The Greeter’s Desk back wall and Black Label wall – are one unit (two-sided). This wall is a combination of Alpiwood and Rift Cut Ash on both sides with 1/4″ black reveals between panels.
The Image Walls – feature fabric panels of Innovations Madre “Sierra”. The monitor wall has a Corian solid surface countertop.
Craftsman Office & Sales Manager Office – the fabric wall panels showcase Alpiwood cabinets with Corian “Deep Doctrin” solid surface countertops.
Training Room – cabinets are Nevamar “Kona Blend” plastic laminate with Corian “Glacier White” solid surface countertops.
Restroom – all men’s and women’s vanities and apron boxes are Nevamar.
Window Sills – are Corian “Deep Doctrine” solid surface.
