Gold’s Gym of El Paso, TX showcases the finest of commercial cabinet manufacturing and interior branding. Let’s look inside this project at the specific elements we used within the project and the spaces.
- check-in desk
- brand logo
- history wall
- planter boxes
- retail display
- locker room lockers
The check-in desk is a 212″ free standing desk. The complete desk is built using Materials, Inc “Aria Beton Vision” rough finish on the vertical surfaces (face and end panels). The lower and upper countertop is Materials, Inc “Aria Beton Vision” smooth finish.
The brand signage on the front desk is a 24″ x 24″ non-lit sign 1/2″ thick black PVC mounted on backer board. The faces are digitally printed vinyl.
The history wall is constructed of 23″ x 23″ panels of 3/4″ thick pine plywood with pine edge banding on all sides. Some panels showcase direct printed graphics on the faces. Panels are spaced 1″ apart to expose painted reveals. The completed wall is 196″ x 143″ floor to ceiling.
We built planter boxes for the vestibule/entry of the gym. These are built using 3/4″ thick pine plywood with clear finish on the exteriors. The interiors are Formica “Black” plastic laminate.
The metal fence features 2″ x 2″ tube steel posts and rails. The steel wire mesh is welded to the tube steel.
The retail display is a 70″ x 116″ wall unit. The cabinets and shelf inserts are UV coated maple. All steel is powder coated “matte black”. The unit features adjustable hanging rods and shelves.
The men’s and women’s locker rooms feature 125 double stack lockers. This is another element of commercial cabinet manufacturing. They are built using Formica “Natural Birch” plastic laminate with white melamine interiors. Each locker has a coat hook and matte black locker pulls.
