Summer of 2024 was a busy for our casework division with our skilled craftsmen creating high end millwork manufacturing (cabinets and millwork) for Holmes Murphy of Sioux Falls, SD. This new office space included several areas:
- reception desk and storage cabinets
- decorative staircase
- mother’s room
- work area cabinets
- breakroom (two islands) cabinets and countertops
- conference room
This entire project of cabinets were manufactured using Wilsonart “Pinnacle Walnut” plastic laminate in all areas. There are some fun and unique elements in each of the spaces. Let’s take a peek at some of these.
- The focal point of this new office is the decorative staircase. The stair treads are Hardwood Lumber Premium Walnut floating stairs. They are wide planks with square edges. Each tread is 58″ x 12″ deep. There are 22 treads. The stair landing is 58″ x 58″. At the top of the staircase is a social rail featuring a countertop of the same material. This rail is 15.25′ x 15″ deep.
- We used Wilsonart “Pinnacle Walnut” on all cabinet exteriors. The countertop on the reception area storage cabinets is Wilsonart “Niwa” quartz. The face of the reception desk and upper countertop is Formica Decometal “Black Patina”; with Wilsonart “Pinnacle Walnut” plastic laminate on the lower countertop.
- The reception desk and storage cabinet, floating shelves, mother’s room, workroom area, breakroom cabinets, and large conference room cabinets are Wilsonart “Pinnacle Walnut”.
- The employee breakroom showcases two large islands built using Wilsonart “Pinnacle Walnut”. The countertops are Wilsonart “Niwa” quartz. The half wall supporting the upper transaction top is painted Sherwin Williams “Roycroft Pewter”.
