Fall of 2021 was a busy time for our talented design and production teams. They were building high end orthodontic cabinetry for Wermerson Orthodontics of Sioux Falls, SD.
This state of the art orthodontic clinic brings cutting edge technology to dental care. They are equipped with digital x-rays and the latest in computer technology offering orthodontics treatment options from traditional, time-proven fixed appliances (metal braces and clear braces) to clear aligners, such as Invisalign clear aligners.
For this particular clinic we built a beautiful custom reception desk with interior brand logo on the face of the desk and a large business logo on the back. In the reception area you’ll also see a business machines cabinet and coffee bar. For these cabinets and face of the reception desk we used Wilsonart “Italian Silver Ash” plastic laminate. The countertops are a combination of Cambria quartz “Portrush” with Formica “Sarum Grey” on the working surface of the reception desk.
In addition to the high end orthodontic cabinetry, we built the brand logo on the face of the reception desk. This is a 14ga steel dimensional sign powdercoated Black, then mounted to the face using PEM studs. The back wall logo sign is 84″ w x 19″ tall. It is 1/2″ black PVC routed letters painted semi-gloss black and flush mounted to the wall with pins and adhesive.
Move to the finance office, assistant offices, imaging room and quiet room. Here you’ll see an abundance of cabinets and rolling file cabinets all made using Formica “White Twill” with Corian “Natural Grey” solid surface countertops.
The sterilization room cabinets, the ortho bay cabinets and the toothbrushing cabinets are also “Formica” White Twill” with Corian countertops. The upper cabinets in the sterilization room have 3/8″ thick clear tempered glass shelves. The ortho bay cabinets feature cutouts within the door panels for glove dispensers. The countertops and divider panel in the toothbrushing area are Cambria “Portrush” quartz.
Down the hallway are multiple storage closets and soffits. These are all Formica “White Twill” with white melamine interiors. In the staff breakroom there are 18 two tiered employee lockers and a kitchenette all built using Formica “White Twill” with Corian solid surface countertops. The lockers feature black matte knobs with custom thru locks.
In the Dr.’s private office we built all the cabinets, closet and bathroom cabinetry using Wilsonart “Italian Silver Ash” plastic laminate with Formica “White Twill” countertops throughout.
